Have you ever solved a rubik’s cube?
Some people think it’s difficult and some people even think it’s impossible to solve it.
In my opinion, I think everyone could solve it if you just put time into it.

Think of a rubik's cube as your problems in life. If you don’t have anything wrong in your life, then your rubik's cube is perfect. All the colors match on all six sides and your rubik’s cube is totally solved. But if you have one problem in your life, like a bad day, then your rubik’s cube is not solved and maybe you just have to twist one side to solve the whole thing.

I came to this big, enormous  country and everything seemed different. As days passed, I started to miss my own country. I am from Ecuador and most of the people that I know come from Ecuador too. My rubik’s cube was still perfect and nothing has changed yet.

I went to a lot of places and I really enjoyed them.I went to NYC and saw a lot of people .The city was huge and there were huge building everywhere. My rubik’s cube was still perfect.

When I found out the news that we were going to stay in this country forever it was like my whole rubik’s cube broke into small pieces and it was really hard to get all the pieces together again. I did not want to stay in this country and I wanted to go back. I was trying to put all the pieces back together to see a way that I could solve it again, but that seemed impossible.

My first day of school went good and I didn’t really communicate with anyone. I missed my friends from my other school in Ecuador and I also missed my family. But honestly, I kind of started liking my new school. My teachers were really nice and everyone was nice there. Half of my rubik’s cube was put back together.

I made new friends the second day of school and we started to talk a lot and as days went by I got used to being in that school and I even knew everyone’s names already. I got used to being in this country and my Rubik’s cube is solved. Sometimes I have bad days but I always try to maintain my rubik’s cube perfect by keeping all 6 sides with their own color.
