An Experience with a Jaywalker

One thing that i see people do way to much nowadays that really makes me shake my head is walking in the street. I'm surprised I haven't seen any of them get run over. Most of them are from a high school that is right down the street from my home. They'll walk in the street with their earbuds in. I don't think any of the high school students will be as bad as the experience I had, quite recently, with people walking in the street.

I was on my way to a spring formal dance at our school and me and my mother were driving through our subdivision and we were turning a corner. At first my mom didn't notice the person that was walking right in the middle of the street at first though I assumed she did. She noticed him in time to get out of the way before we hit him. The funny part is that he didn't even attempt to move even slightly out of the way. It's like he wanted to get hit, so he can sue us and get money. It gets even better though. The next week Monday, we were driving to school, and we saw that same dude and he did the exact same thing. He didn't move out of the way, nothing. It's like he was daring us to hit him. I really think this guy is a jerk because he just walks right in the middle of the road. I suggested that we just hit him and say we couldn't see him because his outfit blended in with the street(he was wearing a grey hoodie and grey sweatpants.)

We should probably tell these people that society has these amazing things on the sides of the street called sidewalks. The sidewalks are for pedestrians, the roads are for vehicles. The government should start teaching common sense in schools because people get run over from walking in the street, yet people still do it. If you are one of those people, just take my advice and get on the sidewalk... please.

Just a personal experience from me about quite possibly the most defiant jaywalker ever.
