My Journey Through Makeup
Makeup has been a great experience for me. I remember when I was around 7 years of age, I would do my makeup and act like I was going to go out and party. My mom wouldn’t allow me putting makeup on until one day I got made fun of because my nose would naturally get red. I cried sometimes and I know my mom wouldn’t like to see me unhappy, so I told her maybe I could wear foundation to help solve my problem.
Little by little I started wearing more and more. First foundation, then mascara and it kept adding on. I would always struggle, I still do till this day. One eyebrow always comes out thicker than the other and they just come out uneven. Not just my eyebrows but my eyeliner also. Practice makes perfect.
I believe that makeup will help me achieve the goals I have set for myself in regards to my skills. I have decided that I want to become a makeup artist because I have a big passion for it and plus they make a good amount of money. Based on some research, the make from $18,780 to $115,030 a year depending on the location. My sister is a hairstylist, so I would like us to work together since we both enjoy cosmetics.
I never came to realize that I would have such a passion for makeup. Many people have negative thoughts toward makeup but if you’re really interested in wearing makeup regardless if you’re a female or male then go for it.
