First Day First Experience
It was my first day of school at middle school and i had never even heard of this school. I asked my mom why did i have to move schools and she would always say, “It's the best for you”. It was my first day of school and i got up early in the morning , got ready for my first day of school. I finally finished getting ready my mom was all ready to go in the car waiting for me. I got in the car and drove of to school. We finally got there I was nervous when i seen we were there. My mom parked at the entrance gave me a kiss and said, “good luck” as i started walking off.
As i was walking in I was observing that not many colored students came to this school. The bell rang, i saw students started running i knew it was because class was starting but i still had no clue where my class was at. I asked a teacher i saw in the hallway, she was really nice and offered to take me. I was a couple minutes late to my class and when i walked all i seen was that everyone in this class were white kids, right away i thought to myself “all these kids should be really stuck up just because they are white that's how every white person is”.
I went to all my classes i struggled a little to find them but i did just fine. Then the lunch bell rong. Everyone came out to the quad. I didn't know nobody and didn't have anyone to talk to so, I just walked where everyone was walking figure it was towards the cafeteria. I got in the lunch got my food and sat down in one of the benches outside by myself, when i look up i see a group of white girls coming toward me. I thought in my head “oh boy they are probably coming to look for trouble” they stand in front of me and one off the girls says “ Hi my name is kassie” i was shocked that she was actually being friendly and not stuck up like i thought white girls were i responded “ hey my name is blanca” “so we know you are new and just we just wanted to come and talk to you and maybe who knows we can hang out or be friends” and then gives me a smile. I was really surprise because i always thought white people were always stuck up and thought less of other people but i was wrong
I’ve learn that we stereotype people without actually getting a chance meet them or knowing who they really are. We judge people because of the way certain people are but this doesn't mean that everyone is the same way What other people say gives us a picture and concept in our head about that thing or person that sticks with us until someone or something proves us wrong.

What inspired me to write this was because I had a bad concept about White people and I was tottaly proven wrong. I hope that people get off my writing is to no misjudge people not because one person is a ceratin way means that everyone is like them.
