Many people have thought that full screen phones with no bezels will be on the market. Many people thought OLED screens will be on the market. Not many people thought about iPhone discontinuing their latest iPhone, the iPhone X.

The iPhone X is Apple’s newest phone. The iPhone X has changed so much from the year-old iPhone 8 Plus. The iPhone X was released in September of 2017, as Apple always releases their new phones on this date. The iPhone X is available in space grey or silver, which is surprising, because Apple usually releases more than 2 colors. It also has a choice of 64 GB or 256 GB. The iPhone X is considered heavy and big. The reason why is because it has a glass backing for wireless charging and it is 6.14 grams. The height is 5.65 inches, and it is 2.79 inches in width. Apple has also added a Super Retina Display HD screen. The image quality is excellent, thanks to its 2436 by 1125-pixel resolution at 458 ppi. It has never been done before on any iPhone product, so the iPhone X is lucky enough to get this high-quality screen. The iPhone X also has a True Tone display, which changes color based on color around the area of the phone. This is not new however, as the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus have it. It has 3d Touch, which is a force-based button that allows for a new user interface. The iPhone X has a very bright screen. It is 625 cd/mz per second. The camera has a new look. It has dual image cameras. The outer camera can shoot 12 megapixels. It has a 10x optical zoom with portrait mode, portrait lighting, and autofocus. The iPhone X shoots video at 4k, which is very high for a phone-sized camera. Most people like battery life that’s long, and the iPhone X fulfills that need. The iPhone X has a 12 -hour battery, thanks to its next generation lithium-ion battery.

The iPhone X has been rumored to be discontinued by many sources, but 1 main source is the one to bring the correct facts to the consumer. Ming Ching Kuo, a very trustworthy Taiwanese electronic reporter, is the reporting that Apple will discontinue the iPhone X. Apple is losing millions of dollars, mainly because of the price tag of $1,000! The smartphone world has never seen this much of a rise ever. Many people in this world do not have the sufficient funds for this price. Another reason why people are ditching the iPhone X, is because of the “notch” on the top of the screen and it not having a home button- just gestures only! The iPhone X has this because it’s an all screen design. Apple needed somewhere to put the camera, speaker and microphone. Also, in cold weather, the iPhone X is shutting down, preventing use until moved into a hotter environment.

Apple is charging so much money for the X because OLED, organic LED screens are expensive. They are expensive because Apple is buying them from its competitor- Samsung. Samsung is over charging Apple, but Apple will soon to make their own OLED screens. OLED screens are much brighter and give off more pixels. It ends up being a higher resolution screen. The OLED screen is the main expensive component in the iPhone X. Apple has learned that over pricing does not work. They learned that valuable lesson after the release of the $1000 phone. Apple has analyzed that and found out that selling a cheaper version would be much more effective. For example, Apple released the iPhone 7 and 7 plus. They also sold the iPhone SE, which is iPhone 7 technology, into an iPhone 5s size. The 7 sold great, but the SE did amazing as well. That was very surprising to Apple, as they thought a smaller phone would not sell as well. The result was that most of the population wanted a cheaper iPhone.

Apple has come up with an idea to make three new phones. They will be released around September and they all will be unique. They all vary in size, price, and weight. They are made for 3 different people- business users, stay at homers, and everything in between. There will be 1 flagship model and 2 budget models. There will be a new 6.5-inch iPhone, 6.1-inch model, and a 5.9-inch model. The 6.5-inch iPhone will be around $1100 and will be the most expensive iPhone and the most advanced phone. The 6.1-inch model will be a budget model with an LCD screen instead of an OLED display. This new model is most likely not to have 3d Touch, and double camera layout. However, it might have a dual sim tray, which can support more internal storage in the phone. It is rumored to cost around $700 which is very affordable and cheap for what it is. Finally, the 5.9-inch model is almost the same as the current X, but it will be slightly redesigned, and its price will decrease by a lot. A very unlikely phone has been mentioned to come out, the iPhone SE 2. The iPhone SE is selling great now, but its screen is very small. It is 4.9 inches small. Apple is currently selling these. It has the technology of an iPhone 7, in a smaller 5 S size phone. Although release of the SE 2 is unlikely, it’s worth noting as it could be just like the current iPhone X but just smaller.

Through 11 years in existence, the iPhone has changed so much. From a 4.5-inch screen, all the way to a 5.9-inch future phone. Apple has learned many lessons of their consumers. It is impossible to make a perfect phone, but Apple is almost there.
