The ball. The racket. The game.
That ball.
That stupid yellow ball.
That ball that encompasses all the challenges I face.
That ball that I have to force over the net.
Those lines.
Those stupid white lines.
Those lines that signify whether or not I am good enough.
Those lines that create my boundaries and decided whether or not I am a winner.
This game.
This stupid mind-boggling game.
This game that pushes me to my limit and challenges me.
This game that I work towards until I’m dead and then work a little harder.
Tennis.
My life. My passion.
I work from love to win.
I work with my whole body.
I work to put that stupid yellow ball into those stupid white lines to win this stupid mind-boggling game that I love.
Tennis.
