Tatis lifts up Mets
The Mets
have unsuccessfully
attempted to win
the past few weeks.
Not playing
up to their true abilities.
But,
Wednesday
that spark would finally
bring the Mets alive.
Now they were trailing
five to four
in the bottom
of the ninth.
Endy Chavez
would be the igniter
to a long lost spark.
That spark
would turn
into an explosion
a solo home run.
Endy Chavez
tied the game.
This would not
be all.
The Mets
would
come across another
challenge
extra innings.
Top of the twelfth
the spark
would be
dampened.
By Alfredo
Amezega’s
Homer.
Putting
the Marlins
up by one.
It would soon
come up to
Fernando Tatis.
Who had
been in and out of baseball
for awhile.
With two outs
silence fills
the air.
Would be over?
Tatis
was
determined
and
scorched
a double
deep
into
the
left field
corner.
The crowd
roars.
THE
METS
WIN!
