Why Does a Gymnast get treated differently at school

Gymnasts sometimes get treated differently because they are more athletic then others. They are begged to go out for sports that can benifit the team instead of there gymnastics career. Some sports they are begged to try out for is track volleyball and swimming. Most gymnasts dont have that problem because they are home schooled but those who arent may have that problem. i know that a few of me friends are gymnasts and they face a bunch of different coaches who wants them on there team
