When I grow older I want to travel all over Europe. It is full of rich history and beautiful architecture. There are so many places to explore just in Europe. I have a huge fascination with European history. The first Place I want to visit is the UK. This will be the easiest place to figure out international travel as we have a common language. I want to visit London, with its big red double decker buses and historic buildings like Buckingham palace and Big Ben. Another place to visit would be the cliffs of Dover. These cliffs overlook the English channel and stretch for miles with their imposing white walls. The last place I would like to visit in the UK is the Isle of Skye in Scotland. These mountains are beautiful. There are medieval castles dotted throughout the landscape and much of the mountains are the most amazing shade of green that goes so perfectly with the blue in the sky.

The next place I want to visit is France, specifically Paris. Nicknamed The City of Lights.Paris is home to the Palace of Versailles and the Louvre. The Versailles palace has some of the most beautiful gardens and architecture in all of Europe. The Louvre has some of the best modern Architecture in the city. It is a glass pyramid filled with famous artwork such as the Mona Lisa. I’m also very intrigued by the World Wars and France is the perfect place to go when wanting to visit historical battlefields. Visiting the Normandy beaches, Verdun, and the Somme are also big on my bucket list. I hope the have documentaries too. The BOOM’s, BANG’s, and HURRAH’s of the battles bring me into the fight and make me feel invested in a fight that has already happened. The coolest place that I want to visit in France is Mont-St.-Michel. This castle is situated on an Island on the beach in northern France. It is on top of a mountain of rock that looks so out of place from the surrounding beaches.  It is one of the most beautiful castles I’ve ever seen. 

The last place I want to visit is Italy. Italy, for me, is home to the best kind of food in the world. Pizza, spaghetti, fettuccine, and pesto are some of my favorite foods. Italy is also home to some of the best architecture and cities in the world. The first place I want to visit is Venice. Venice is one of the coolest looking cities in Europe. Its buildings are built around canals used for transportation. The beautiful blue-green water looks like it is straight out of a storybook. It contrasts so well with the orange-red and brown colors of the buildings.   It creates an amazing aethstetic. Rome is another city that is full of historical structures. The Colosseum, Pantheon, and Trevi fountain are some of the coolest ancient Roman structures. The last place I want to visit is the Alps. These mountains are some of the most beautiful in the world and their beautiful snowy tops and grey-blue rock color give some of the best visuals in Europe. Being in the Alps will be like a Spectre scene or a scene from Shooter. Both are great movies.  They are also home to goats and marmots. So look out for some cool wildlife. 

There is so much to explore in Europe and even more to explore in the world. There is so much I didn’t talk about. Brussels, Vienna, Prague, and Istanbul are some others I hope to visit.  I hope that one day I can explore it all.
