Hamilton Island has numerous
opportunities to have a fun and exciting

time in the sun and ocean. But
personally, if you're not up for having an
action-packed day there still are
opportunities to go on a scenic flight or
relax and indulge in one of the many spa
retreats.
The best time to visit the island is
during autumn, spring, or late
summer. Personally, the worst time
to visit is during the school holidays
or at the start of summer. The
weather ranges from a maximum of
30°C in January-March (Australian
summer) to a low of 23°C in July-
September (Australian Autumn). So,

for a great time all year round.

the Ngaro people area the

8000 years ago to the present
time. Hamilton Island was named
and established in the late 1970s
by Keith Williams who thought
the island was a nice place for a
tourist destination. But early in
the 2000s Bob Oatley purchased
the island and developed it into a
world-class holiday spot people
see today.
The Island contains a bundle of live
music during the day and evening with
special quests frequent the music is
involving and enjoyable. Suitable for all
quests, this extra is a perfect piece to
make a family's day just a bit sweeter.
Hamilton Island doesn’t have a
particular option of choice for food and
wine. The Island has a vast range of food
