Summertime in London MAG
Summertime in London is
never inevitable
although it is known for
raindrops
who take many-branched courses down
the descending surface of an umbrella
cool breezes
which toss hair and raindrops around
arms, legs, invaded by goose bumps
that solemnly seek the warmth of the
sun season should be different.
And it is
sometimes.
As soon as you think
that the sun is here to stay, you find
falling leaves
who take a direct flight from tall oaks
through the window summer chills
and to the wet ground
that stays slick with tears the gray clouds have cried
all because of the fateful discovery
of goose bumps.
