Waukesha County’s greatest treasure is it’s diversity in opportunity. My most treasured Waukesha memories happen throughout the county, in a variety of places.

The Majestic Theater in Brookfield, Wisconsin, is a place of budding romances, reunionizing friendships, and a place to go by yourself to view recent films. It has its Bistro, the dine-in theaters and its VIP balcony seating. The Majestic is the most famous theater in Waukesha County with its astonishingly comfortable seats.

Once done with the movie, I head to Hartbrook lanes in Hartland--a  place of sportsmanship, recreational fun, and a place to relax and watch games in a comfortable and soothing setting.  With its twelve lanes and its Friday fish fry, the bowling alley has been around for at least a decade and I personally have made many memories there. I’ve taken girlfriends there and even had a competitive games with friends. Everyone from Hartland knows the bowling alley--everyone’s been there, and everyone’s made at least one memory there.

After the bowling alley we take a grim turn Hartland cemetery is my final destination, a sad but recuperating place, and a place where urban legends have been born. is a small but quaint cemetery, where I have seen few buried. The cemetery has existed as long as the town, hosting both funerals and burials. It is a place to walk through at night, but also a place to revisit lost loved ones. A place of night terror and peaceful reunion.
