The Roots
Walking in this welcoming coffee shop that is located in downtown of Oconomowoc--it gives you a sweet aroma of fresh brewed coffee that can brighten up any bad day. This coffee bar is locally owned business with the sweetest baristas; open 6pm to 9pm everyday. They want nothing but to bring happiness to their community.
The famous chalkboard menu offers coffee, teas, soda, and smoothies to fulfill taste buds. They even have an assorted sandwich menu, the stevie wonder is my personal favorite. The environment is full of couches, a roaring fire, and live music on Saturday nights, 8pm-10pm. All of these factors joining together nicely to make up a perfect second home.
The crowd is diverse, but we share the same love--coffee. It is perfect if you want to stop by to listen to the live music, or to reconnect with a friend, and even to just sit by yourself and enjoy this local coffee shop.
Whether it is 10 degrees and you just got back from snowboarding trying to warm your mittens with coffee or it’s summer and you want to sip on a smoothie and walk around Oconomowoc lake right behind the shop--The Roots Cafe and Coffee Bar is always an ideal place to go.
