queen hetshepsut:in short
Hatshepsut:a report
In the land of Egypt a long time ago there lived a girl named Hatshepsut whom you might have heard of. She was born in 1530 BC in the palace of Thebes. It was a very big privilege to be a princess. To entertain her there was her fathers zoo and a lot of toys. In 1518 BC she married and became queen. As a queen she had many responsibilities, two of them were hosting feasts and giving offerings to the gods. When her husband died in 1501 BC she claims the throne and agrees to wear the Egyptian fake beard. In 1497 BC she commanded Djeser-Djeseru which is today a very famous monument to be built. Hatshepsut orders for a trading expedition in a land called Punt. When they come back they come with gold and other riches which helps Egypt prosper. In 1482 BC Hatshepsut’s life and reign ends and she’s buried in Luxor but she is still remembered today.
