Against the Wind
Summary:
This is a story about Kam, a small town fisherman barely scraping enough money to put food on the table for his mother and many siblings of which he is the oldest. He is out fishing one day when he sees and enourmous fishing barge that he knows to be illegal-outlawed by the Gov due to a shortage in fish. He races home grapling interally with his findings, as well as the illegality of his being out on the water at that time of day. Could he have seen something he shouldn't have? He arrives home to find his mother and siblings. After recieving a very curious task from his mother, he follows her orders and goes out again to confront the Gov. What is going on?
