The year is 2028, the Chinese invaded Taiwan as they promised which would be the beginning of WW3. The Russians Pushed into the Baltics as well as further into Ukraine but only to be stopped near Kyiv. Iran as well as Syria and Yemen attacked the Saudis inducing Israel. Now back to Southeast Asia,  American and Japanese forces would free Taiwan in a matter of weeks as the Chinese fleet has been occupied by American fleets. 

*** a Few months later*** Lieutenant Juanito and his platoon would be called to be sent to The Huangpu river to begin preparations for the offensive.                                                       Lieutenant Juantio would talk towards the platoon “Okay boys get up, we have a hell of a day today.”

          Corporal Jamal would speak up “Sir, I thought we could have a break since we took down Chinese air defenses”

     “Well Corporal, if you want the Mcdonald’s veteran discount you better arm up.”

                                           **30 minutes would pass**

 Lieutenant Juantio and the Platoon would get in their armored convoy and begin heading for the Huangpu River to begin preparing for the offensive, While going to assign a spot helicopter would be seen flying towards the war zone showing that the battle has begun or at least they’re dropping off troops. They would soon arrive at their destination with the platoon getting out and preparing for the offensive, soon after shots would be fired with the men taking cover. Gunfire would be fired left and right with windows, and tires being fired on. The Platoon would choose to seek shelter and would begin moving into a skyscraper.

   Lieutenant Juantio would speak” God dammit, How did they know”

 Lieutenant Juantio and the platoon would open fire on the PLA with 6 of them being killed

  Private Louis would scream out “GET TO THE DAMN BUILDING ALREADY!”      

The Group would successfully enter the building, although if they made it they would be surrounded by PLA troops. To further survive the ongoing attacks the Platoon would begin using decks, couches, and anything that could be used as a cover would be used. Lieutenant Juantio would begin radioing for air support but would be told that the support wouldn’t come for another 2 hours. Knowing that the platoon wouldn’t be able to seek shelter for that long they would begin searching for a way out. Soon after they would be informed that the line of defense would be breached by the PLA forcing them to move near the Huangpu river.

“Okay we need the plan to get the hell out of this building, Airsupport wouldn’t be here until a few more hours,” said Lieutenant Jauntio.

“Ever thought of using the back door entrance Lieutenant Juantio?” said Private Louis.

“Yea, that could be useful but how exactly would we know they already know about it?” 

“We could always use the drone to seek out their positions”

“Oh right”

Soon after Private Louis would begin using the drone to seek out the positions of the enemy forces to see that they had advanced further into the city. Soon after they would choose to leave the building and head for allied forces. 

                                                         **20 minutes later**

The platoon would finally reach an outpost to find lots of leftover equipment such as a portable Heat Seeking missile leftover and ammunition. The platoon would use this to their advantage stocking up with food, Ammunition as well as taking the Portable missile. Soon after stocking up, they would begin moving, finding 3 Helicopters seeming to be a part of the 7th airborne division from japan being shot down. Seeing the helicopters crashing into the buildings they would suspect they’re close to the war zone.

“12 minutes later” PLA tanks, APCs, and trucks would be seen passing by confirming they were near.

Knowing that they cannot take down an entire tactical group they would choose to hide and engage fire if they spot them 

“Oh crap, IT'S A DAMN TACTICAL GROUP!, SEEK SHELTER!” Said Lieutenant Jauntio

The Platoon would quickly seek shelter inside buildings staying away from the windows to prevent them from being spotted, after 6 minutes the tactical group would be gone 

giving the green light for the platoon to continue advancing south. After walking for a couple of minutes they would come across 10 PLA soldiers relaxing near their APC, Knowing that they were off guard they would choose to open fire on the men with all 10 men dead in a matter of seconds.

“Ha, Would you look at that, Their off guard,” said Lieutenant Juanito 

Private Louis would aim his rifle at the men Saying “should we?”

    “You have the go-ahead Private”

After making sure they were all dead they would continue advancing to the south, after 30 minutes of walking they would choose to take a break eating whatever food they have with them, and after 12 minutes they would continue their advance. After hours of walking, they would finally meet up with a battalion with their commander asking for their information and names and ranks, after finding out they were supposed to be in the Huangpu river they would choose to group up and begin heading to the front lines to support their allies in the city.

                                                                   Chapter 2

Soon after heading to the front lines they would see  7 New H90- helicopters flying past the battalion dropping off marines as well as supplies for the trucks to be sent to the front.

“Well then I guess the marines have arrived huh” Said private Louis

“Indeed,” said Captain Jackson 

After 9 minutes They would pass by the destroyed  Shanghai Tower as well seeing PLA soldiers being transported to a POW camp, Soon after the Captain would say that they needed to resupply so they would head to a port to stock up. After arriving the 

the battalion would see 7 ships carrying Chinese refugees, seeming to be headed to japan. After Restocking the battalion would be off to the front lines.

Lieutenant Juantio would speak “Huh what are those ships for eh” 

“Those are for Refugees said” Capitan Jackson

“Hm, So where are they heading to?” 

“Eh, Most likely Japan or America”

After A couple of minutes B2, B1, and B21 Bombers would fly over the battalion, seemingly headed to Chongming Island, after a few minutes news would soon reach the front lines that the PLA would use nuclear weapons in the Manchurian front as Allied forces are reaching the outskirts of Beijing, Soon after evacuation zones would be made all of shanghai as they fear the PLA would most likely target the city, With the news also being told to the population center chaos would break with tons of people begging to be evacuated from the city. The battalion knowing that they won’t make it to the evacuation they would chooses to fight while they can. 

Lieutenant Juantio would speak “So, is this where it all ends huh”

            Captain Jackson would speak “Indeed it is Lieutenant” 

10 minutes would pass the battalion would reach the frontlines with no hesitation they would begin opening fire while the troops would quickly get out of the APCS and Armored 

trucks. They soon begin pushing forward while using their APCS as cover, eventually, they would begin spreading out closing in on a PLA battalion, Tanks from the PLA would soon arrive destroying one of the APCS which was giving cover fire, Seeing the tank Jamal would quickly aim the portable Heat seeking missiles and fire on the PLA tanks destroying it in a matter of seconds, Soon after Jamal would soon get shot in the head by a PLA soldier with his Helmet being flown off, His soulless body would lay there bleeding out. Eventually, the battalion would successfully break the lines of defense forcing PLA divisions to be split in half or forced to retreat, while PLA forces retreated with artillery, Gunfire, and missiles and troops would begin firing upon them with many surrendering to allied forces.  Air support from a nearby aircraft carrier would arrive with F15s and F35s dropping bombs on the Retreating PLA. As soon as PLA forces were leaving the city news about the Manchurian front would reach the pacific front command informing forces that they had launched nuclear strikes on Shanghai, HongKong, Seoul, Taipei, and more, with no other options Lieutenant Juantio would inform the battalion.

“Well, I am sorry to inform you guys but, a nuclear strike will hit the city soon,” said Lieutenant Juantio 

As they would say their farewells, A blast from the river would go off officially starting the nuclear war.
