Laura and Tishona
Summary:
Follow the orphan Laura who knows two things at a young age: sorrow over her parents' death and that life is better outside of Siberia, Russia. When she escapes the orphanage and goes to London, England, she is promptly arrested. Luckily, she is saved by the Queen of England herself, whom takes her to be a maid at the royal palace. Laura meets a slew of people including Tishona, an older headstrong maid, Nathan, the shepherd boy who is in love with her, and Daniel, the mischeivious man she marries and son of the evil nobelman Daman.
Laura inspires feminism by earning a career as a detective. However, when her career becomes a job, depression runs high, and her home is restless, will Laura prevail as always or will she be doomed to live miserably forever?
