Who We Were
Summary:
It's Who We Were is meant to mirror the classic dystopian fiction like 1984 and A Brave New World. It begins on a pier made of rocks that have been moulded by the ocean jutting out from the beach. The protagonist is an interplanetary diplomat and geographical surveyer who is sent to discuss foreign policy with the neighboring Martian Colony, which has morphed into a fully functioning Utopia. The colony was meant to be the Humanity's last step towards unification, yet it only severed us further.
