Summary:
Despite the holidays ringing, the train cable is deafeningly quiet expect for the creaking of bones of the mysterious man, Cotard, who sat in front of her. Cotard was all skin and bone, shriveled like a dried bean, and contrasted the jolly world above. He knows her, but she hasn't realized that she already knows him as well.
