Points of View
The most vital right an American holds is his freedom of speech. The freedom to express our ideas shapes our country's success. America is great because it fosters argument. The constant influx and evaluation of ideas allows this nation to realize its full potential. Thought is not stagnant. Healthy ideas are weeded away from the chaff in the heat of debate. Do your duty as a citizen: defend your right to argue! If something needs to be changed, challenge it. Argue the point; shove the golden mixture of beliefs into the fire so that the good ideas can be separated from the better ones. The beauty of America is that we have the freedom to pick holes in the country's foundation and replace them with stronger brick. I love argument. I revere debate. I honor rhetoric and logic that points out flaws in the country; it has made America great.
