If You Knew Me
If I were mayor of my town I would address the issues of prejudice in my town. Everyday I hear a negative comment towards every race. It is as if people do not want to hold one another high and instead push them till they fall low. To help with the issues of prejudice I would have parties and have door prizes. Those who manage to arrive early and make 3 friends from different race get the prizes. This would be a good experience because the way I see it is that people don’t know someone's story. They throw prejudice around. If I were mayor of my town I would stand up for my city at council meetings. I would be the voice of Pelham, AL. I would roar louder than a lion in terms of being strong and having the capability of evoking every point that the people of this city want to be heard about. I would hold the public's worries and I would dispose of them appropriately instead of hearing the outrages. If I were the mayor of my town, I would stand as high as possible.
