They were all the same in every way. Not even a different hair did they have. I think there should be more model minorities in the U.S.

82.7% of the models in the U.S are white. Do you think that is fair to other races? No right?! Me as a Latina, I would like to see more models of my race. I want them to represent who we are and where we came from. I bet other races would like that too. 2% of the models are Latinas and 6% are black. Rare the time you see a black model in magazines. Not very often right?

In magazines you mostly see with models represent the companies. Also in commercials. For example “Victoria’s Secret” commercial, there is only white models. All white not one single black model.

“It is promoting the Idea that beauty means having white skin”, says Iman. This idea is bad because it might discourage little girls with a different skin color that want to be models. For instance me. And mostly because they are going to think that being darker is bad.

Sincerely I think this is called racism. What representatives are making me think is that blacks aren't good enough to represent them. Which is really racist? What do they mean? Having another skin color is bad? Um mm no you all need to stop that!

What I propose is that we put more models of other races. How about 25% of 4 different races. Black, White, Latina/Hispanic, Asian. To be equal. Now ever race will be represented in an equal way. More minorities please!
