Tied Too Tight
I see you everywhere, the streets, my mind, my eyes, my face. It’s hard to let something go that I never had, but I realized that if I was never yours then why am I trying so hard to keep you, the deep you, the one who I fought through fire to save and raise you up to be stronger every time you fell. You threw it away, so I guess I was never worth it. I was never worth your love, I should have never been here, but yet I stayed from the start with you broken, and pieced you back together after others tore you down.
