Hey That’s Volleyball
Scratches, Burns, and Bruises. Scratches you don’t know you had until you feel a stinging sensation and go “oh I cut myself”. But hey that’s volleyball. Burns from the floor because you didn’t put your knee pads low enough but instead put them too high. And now you got a nice little red burn right under your knee. And worst part of all is that you re-burned it the day after it healed. But hey that’s volleyball. Bruises from rolling after diving for the ball right on your shoulder. “You won’t die from that” is what Coach Carlos says. But hey that’s volleyball. And I’d rather be getting my scratches, burns, and bruises any day. Because first: I won’t die from it, second: they have a 92% chance of healing, and third: I’m having the time of my life. But hey that’s volleyball.

I love this!! I play volleyball and, literally, have a burn just below my knee!
This is really good! Keep writing!
