Epiphany
I took this at Lake Massabesic in Manchester, NH. It was a hot summer day and I'd repeatedly failed at my attempts with fishing.. I was tired and irritated and counting down the minutes until it was time to leave. I was staring down at my shoes as my boyfriend (of the time. Seeing this sunset made me realize I did not want to be with him. Or maybe it was his celebratory fish dance?) boasted of his success with catching TWO fish; when I suddenly noticed the area surrounding me had become flooded with a stunning golden light. In this photograph you can clearly see I edited it by darkening the sky surrounding the sun. I wanted the focus of the picture to be solely on the colors that are radiating from the sun. This sunset was and still is to this day, the most beautiful sunset my eyes have ever been blessed to see.
