Devotion
For the last couple of years, I have been attending the First Friday Mass at the Cistercian Abbey. I have always looked forward to the end of the Mass when the lights are turned off, and the beautiful statue of Mary at the front of the abbey appears to have wings from the shadows that are formed behind her. I found it so interesting to know that the statue of Mary was never built to have these shadows, but they simply appeared. I immediately became inspired to capture this image.
