Fragile Hope
Dreamer, put a smile on your face,
We see your sorrow, our hearts are full of fear.
Our only hope is nothing will erase
Your joy in life, and yet your tears appear.
Without your light to guide our way,
The torch of courage held so high in faith,
We wander in a pit of our dismay,
Unable to escape our piteous fate
So ne’er forsake your calling, Dreamer,
Care not for what is dragging through the dust.
But always think of what is good and pure;
And lead on, we follow you who must.
