It Takes Time to Heal
Losing someone so close that it hurts
Your anxiety kicks in,
Feeling like an elephant is standing on your chest
Always crying about someone who you lost
Through some depression may be affected
Forever striving to fight the pain
People telling you its gonna to be okay
But to you, it's negative
Seeking to find distractions
Even writing a letter to help
To some people, they dream about their lost loved one
Wanting the dream to be real
Wanting them back so bad
Forever hiding so no one sees you
Pushing friends and family away
Deep down into your broken heart
Knowing that they are in a better place
There are always watching you
Always with you no matter what happens
Because they love you so much
They're missing you as much as you're missing them
They loved you very much
Don't ever forget that
Someday your heart will heal
Oh, darling, it's all about time, it always takes time to heal

When I grieve over a lost loved one or just about someone that I love that is struggling, it makes me feel like my heart is broken, knowing that they're not living anymore or they're just struggling to hold on. I made this poem really personal just so it will help me through my struggles and maybe help others that are struggling as well.
