Seasons and Love

It was spring when we met;
everything new
and love was fresh.
It progressed into summer
always the passion,
fiery and hot.
Lazy days together
with night not apart.
And then, like always,
Fall approached.
Bringing change and everything down.
Now I'm stuck here in winter
left all alone.
Waiting, just waiting,
for my spring to return.
