A tree leans, partially uprooted
Still grass lay on the ground
As clouds of destruction swirl around
Clouds that spell death loom ever closer
The sound of lightening cracks the air
Bad enough to raise your hair

A lone car tries to leave
But the only way out of town
Is across a bridge that's broken down
They head back home
But try as they might
They can't escape the storm's sight

Winds as powerful as a hundred- pound cannon
Threaten to blow at anytime
Hurling debris without reason or rhyme
The short-lived peace and quite
Will soon become a riot
The eye waits not
