One day I
Can look into
Someone’s clear blue eyes
Without thinking of you
And I will kiss someone’s lips
Without imagining they’re yours
But right now I wake up and miss you
Maybe one day those thoughts will go away
I’m sitting here with my heart in my hands
The fragile heart you gave back to me

Those words you said cut through me
