I imagine you dancing when it rains,
And with thirsts to quench, you can have no boundaries—
Your beauty is too complex and wonderful to be so simply kept.

And when you have finished laughing,
All of your clothes may don on again.
Here I pity you, yet marvel at your masking yourself,
Fooling the world and its wide-eyed spectators.

Without your face flushing,
You hibernate yourself in winter,
A dormant pearl of a bud swirling its soul round its entire body,
Planning for the world that you shall pervade.
With such wings, I might be able to fly again.

The author's comments:
What do you feel when you meet the love of your neighborhood life? I guess they would be mixed emotions. For myself, I could only imagine myself feeling total envy. If anything, the socialite and the carnivorous, humid, flaming mouth of society is what I wish to stay away from as far as possible, but to fall in love with one is what I would consider pure fate from third person. Perhaps 'pearl' and 'bud' are a bit much, but I guess when you are in love, you feel any kind of excrement. I don't know how many curse I can type in here, so I won't risk anything.

I really like this one! The emotions are a lot more complex than the average "boy meets girl, girl likes boy, girl cries" or the other way around that most people right about. Great!

-I'd love if you took a look at the rest of my poetry if you have a spare minute - i've written four poems so far.

Thanks!
