Ode to Dusk
A blanket of shimmering stars
That covers the twilight dark.
Laying my back on the bumpy trunk
As my legs relax on the scratchy grass.
The sky darkens
As the sunset dances with blazes of colors.
The sound of nature songs
Blares like a stereo being turn up.
The beauty of the night sky
Glimmers with thousands of stars.
The horizon dancing with a portrait
Of colors of the rainbow.

This piece, Ode to Dusk, was inspired from my first experience of a sunset with my friends. Nature is beautiful, you just have to sit back and watch it. Life will go on, but you only have so much time to watch.
