I wait, but for what.
I know your not coming but yet I wait,
Tears drip down my dirty face,
I guess I can’t change a thing called fate,
But here I am thinking, starting from the base.
I’m left wondering like a stranger in a new town,
Whether the birds will glide or crash,
Tears come up in my sore eyes from crying,
I cant figure out if I should stop and give up trying.
To think about you and your mind,
What goes on in the basement is a mystery to me,
Can’t you just let me go, just let me be,
Who I felt I was, before you walked into my life.
Take me or leave me,
Please do It now iv been broken before,
If you going to walk out, then please don’t walk in now.
Its all I ask from a friend like you.
