The bellowing heart and the lost way
Looking into the eyes of the divine
You’ll see that nothing is really fine
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder
But really beauty doesn’t get much older
Such a short life, yet so much to lose
But here you are just for them to use
Here one moment, gone the next
So why spend time on some text
Others carved your path to follow
Leaving you rather hallow
You chose the line made by the rest
When no ones truly blessed
Our lives are temporary
So we only feel safe in some sanctuary
Little was it known that all could be undying
If we’d just stop all the lying
The path the you cut for your own destiny
Could very well set you free
Regret will leave the soul
Damaged and black as coal
No need to rethink your choices
Just listen to your voices
Your heart is longing for something new
Though your actions are of very few
With the time you’ve been dealt
Maybe its time to watch your halo melt
