Walls
Pretending
pretending everyhting's okay when it isn't
putting on this mask
so no one sees how hurt you truly are inside
putting up so many walls
no one will ever be able to get all the way in
because it hurts too much
it hurts
never expressing how I really feel
keeping to myself
bottling everything up inside
too scared to talk about anything
scared to put my walls down
scared to let anyone in
scared of getting hurt again
pretending
pretending I'm strong
when really, I am weak
pretending everything is okay
when really
everything isn't
