Bored
That day after school
I was so bored I thought I might drool.
I decided I would draw,
But my picture had a flaw.
I went to read a book
As the phone rang off the hook.
I anwsered the phone
And I told my friend I was at home.
Then I went outdoors
Even though I didn’t finish my chores.
I wanted to take a run
But I thought,”That’s no fun!”
But my mom didn’t agree.
She said, “come us three!”
I said, “no chance!”
While I walked away in a prance.
So I started to jump rope,
With a little bit of hope.
I sang a silly song
It wasn’t that long.
But then I got bored all over again.
Hopscotch isn’t my friend.
I picked up my basketball
And threw it into a net hoping it would fall.
Then I was no longer bored,
And my smiled had come out from were it was stored.
