I looked for O

I looked for O in the depths of the ocean
where fish swim in the open.
I scavenged through the books
of the old library with many nooks.
I explored the light breeze swaying the flowers
making me sneeze for hours.
I foraged through the screams of a scary night
from children in costumes with fright.
I turned around in defeat
only to see O sitting at my feet.
