The war
“The War”
The war is raging writhing and violent
But there is no deceleration
No battle cry
Because the war is internal
The ripping apart of the two halves of yourself
The battle to keep ones, lucidity
Digging in your nails to hold on to your sanity
Then the coming the hand that helps pull you back from the edge
The blissful discovery that you are not the only one
Millions have felt the same pain
And now you have the weapons in your arsenal to fight
The war is contained but never over
You were not defeated
