Live On
Watching over these greiving faces
It wasn't supposed to be that way
She swears she wont ever forget
She wont ever move on
Life was to short
He only wanted to help
Make a better life for others
He knows what he did was right
But they never wanted him to go
Many before him
Met the same fate
Many will follow in his footsteps
Some will come home
Some will go back many times
They never thought it would end this way
She sits beside her mother
Pigtails in her hair
Wondering why her father's gone
Asks her mother where he went
All she can do is cry
He's watching watching over them now
He knows it will be hard
He stands up proud
For he knows that they will be fine
They wont forget
They will fight on for him
They might not want to
But they will survive
Life will be hard
There's no doubt
