Better With You
Dew drops drip down daisies
Yellow flowers bend at the stems
The morning mist is hazy
A cool breeze is blowing again
In the morning we go walking
Crunching gravel underfoot
And I can’t stop thinking
About the way you looked
When we danced the night before
& spent hours talking about nothing
You wore that suit that I adore
I just have to tell you something
I could dance to a thousand songs
With a different boy
could walk with him all day long
But I wouldn’t feel joy
I could have a thousand conversations
With a different person
But no matter the situation
There’s one thing that’s certain
It isn’t about what we do
It’s because I’m with you
