What Friends Are For
Everyone feels alone sometimes
Everyone feels like no one is there for them
Except for me
I used to feel like that
Until the day i opened up
I wasn't planning to
But i had to let it out
I told her about the incident
She took a big gasp
She held out her arms
I let out my tears
She hugged me
A hug like I've never felt before
She told me she cares
Told me that she loved me like a brother
She held on tight
She said she would help me
She told me that she would be there
She told me, "That's what friends are for."
