Titanic
Thousands of pounds floating on water.
She carried many, and many admired her.
She was a ship that people knew of.
Unsinkable, they said. That’s why she was loved.
There’s just one thing that could take her down.
An iceberg in the water would make her drown.
That’s just what happened, she started to sink.
Everyone aboard her, too nervous to think.
Some people survived, but many did not.
Boarding life boats or praying in their cot.
Nothing left to show now but some sunken residue.
Many researchers now look to find
Something great and something new.
