Rain
Rain
softly falling,
never stopping, never stalling,
nor letting up.
It waits it out,
until the very end,
when that last drop drops.
How simple is the job
of that water from above.
Just cascade from the heavens
and to then merge into one.
To make puddles, rivers, streams,
but never knowing where
they just might be.
And that is not even the end
of those drops journey from above.
Because at one point they rise,
rise continually up,
to the place where those drops
will once more drop.
