Three-six-five days
eight-seven-six-five hours
five-two-five-six-zero-zero minutes
three-one five-five-six-nine-two-six seconds
Seconds to minutes
to hours to days
the years rack up and the past soon fades.
But if you fight and refuse
to accept fate,
life will pass by,
because time doesn't wait.
nothing remains but the old
those seconds passed by
with minutes in waste.
Hours not spent,
thought most days were the best,
adding up to make my year.
Only you and your time.
