I was young

a shy small thing

then we met building blocks one evening

we were friends ever since

though sometimes we struggled

sharing secrets

our own handshake

and of course we got in trouble

but elementry school doesn't last forever

she moved far away yet we were closer than ever

now it's different

suddenly she hates me

when I the message it hazed me

maybe I'm overeacting writing about it and all

but if I do recall...

we were friends now I feel that hangs on a thread

our friendship broken is what I dread

maybe something happened that made her feel this way
