Broken Breaths
Our broken breaths,
Our arms around each other,
Your lips touch mine,
And I am caught up in the notion,
The world just slips away,
And I still can’t breathe,
But I don’t care,
Who needs air?
When you are holding me here,
Our broken breaths,
What a beautiful mess,
Your love shines through,
Your heart beats so fast,
And I wish this could last,
But time spins away,
From us way too fast,
Just one more kiss,
And we are forced to part,
You whisper three more words,
So sweet smells your breath,
I love you,
You said,
Now I can only hear you in my head,
I love you,
You said. <3
