Utopia
Perspective 1:
It’s the perfect place
Just right where you want to be
It’s right under your feet
Not a problem for miles
With everything accustomed
Every day could be new
Your dreams come in spirit
But it is your utopia after all
You live a euphoria
Far wide you may go
You are not to be held back
For many laws don’t linger
It is all really up to you
Perspective 2:
Be careful what you wish
A utopia is hopeless
It’s unrealistic
Too perfect is corrupt
Where do you really want to be?
Problems lie beneath
Your dreams come to life
They are too fabricated
Euphoria like illusion
Don’t travel too far
Hold yourself from temptation
For your laws are vita
But all is really up to you

I initially thought of writing a poem about a utopia because it is one of my favorite words. It’s anything you want it to be, and escape from reality. It’s very convenient for me to shun the world for a moment. Utopia has a lot to it and you can do a lot with it. It’s a “perfect” (hehe) topic to write about. Having two different perspectives of one can create a whole story. I wrote Utopia in Sedoka because there is a possibility to have two completely different perspectives on something that is considered so perfect or good and happy. All people are different, and so are their thoughts and ideas. Comparing two sides of a story holds a lot of mystery and vision.
