The Reflection
The reflection shows her obvious beauty
Behind that fake smile, she’s a girl so lost
To her it is all still a mystery
And because of him she’s paying the cost
Her eyes staring back, digging for the truth
What could she have ever possibly done?
She stands screaming in a telephone booth
Her feelings she can’t hide, coming undone
Deep down where you can’t see, her heart’s breaking
Deep down somewhere inside, she is falling
Off the edge, because her heart is aching
He shall never see behind the smiling
Everyone says to live day by day
But she still loves him in every way
