If the storm actually came
If the sky was full of blazing lightning,
Would the clouds finally be satisfied?
If they created something so frightening,
That it would only continue to intensify?
I can't help but solemnly wonder
If I would finally be set free
With a sky full of angry thunder
And darkness as far as I could see?
If the storm actually came
Would I be ok with the rain?
Let it soak into my thin skin
No coat to keep me dry and safe
Would I jump gleefully into puddles?
Howl with wolves under the full moon?
Would reality become all muddled
As the infinite storm became our doom?
